No silos

You don't have to pick an area, because the system understands what you're talking about.

Unlike less technologically mature systems, with edit.legal you just ask your question. Our system recognises the subject on its own and knows where to look for the information most useful to answer you.

We believe the areas of law have no sharp borders. It follows that the technology we build has no artificial limits, neither for technical reasons nor, even less, for commercial ones. There are no modules to buy piece by piece here, and no box to squeeze yourself into. Feel free to work on everything you need.

FAQ

Your questions

Where do the sources come from?

From official public databases: codes and state legislation for the normative side, the archives of the Court of Cassation and administrative justice for case law, the websites of public bodies and authorities for practice. No improvised sources.

How often are they updated?

Legislation and case law are updated continuously, as official sources publish new documents. The database keeps growing.

Can the AI make up rulings or articles?

No. edit.legal answers only from the documents in the database and always cites the precise source. If a reference doesn't exist among the sources, it isn't produced.

Can I read the full sources?

Yes. Every citation opens the full document directly in the app, so you can check every passage with your own eyes.

Which areas of law do you cover?

More than twenty areas, from civil to criminal, labour to administrative, tax to corporate, family law and much more.

Are the sources official and reliable?

Yes. We work exclusively with official public sources, preserving the original text and its structure, without alterations.

Certain sources, reliable answers
