The process
Official primary sources
We always start from legislative texts published in the Official Gazette (Normattiva.it) and case law from the Court of Cassation, the Administrative Courts (TAR) and the Council of State. No content is fabricated or based on unverifiable sources.
AI research and analysis
Our artificial intelligence system identifies the most relevant sources for each legal question, analyses legislation and case law, and produces a structured synthesis with precise citations to specific articles and rulings.
Review by lawyers
Each analysis is reviewed by a registered lawyer who verifies the accuracy of legal references, the correctness of the legal analysis and the currency of the cited case law.
Continuous updates
Content is periodically reviewed and updated to reflect new legislation and evolving case law. Each page displays the date of the last verification.
Our principles
Primacy of primary sources
Approximately 70% of each page consists of real legislative and judicial text, reproduced from official sources. The AI component serves as the connective tissue that organises and contextualises sources for the specific question.
Transparency and traceability
Every statement is accompanied by a precise reference to its source. Citations are verifiable: each source links to a dedicated page with the full text and a link to the official database.
Editorial independence
Published questions are selected by the edit.legal editorial team based on professional relevance and the information needs of legal practitioners. Content is in no way derived from private user conversations on the platform, which are protected and not accessible to the editorial system.
